This was only the second time that a Clyde-built loco class had
appeared on the Pilbara, and it was quite modern compared to
Goldsworthy's older
locos. However, when BHP took over, they decided that it wasn't too
compatible
with their own locos, so they sold it to Comalco.

allowed Comalco to update their fleet, and sell one of their older
locos to Westrail.
