These locos have created a bit of interest, as they are something
more 'exotic' than the usual diesel-electric loco on an American (or
British) design.
They are second-hand, from the Danish Railways, and have been shipped
out in batches. They were then modified at Braemar before entering
service.
The class have been used for IRA intermodal traffic in NSW / Sydney
region.
